Post date: Sep 16, 2008 12:19:36 AM

On Saturday evening, Sept. 13, 2008 around 9:30 p.m., a tornado followed a path along Lyndon and uprooted or broke limbs off many trees.  Most of the damage was concentrated within a 1/2 block on either side of Lyndon.  Some of the trees fell across vehicles; one SUV was totaled.  Some trees also fell onto the roofs of homes and caused some extensive damage.  The area around Lyndon and Park was hit hard.  Homes in the Tanglewood sub along Lyndon were hit hard.  Some homes along Lyndon closer to Hull School were also damaged by falling trees.

Pictures of the damage can be viewed in the Photos page of the web site.
