  • Easter Egg Hunt  Scheduled for April 11, 2020 Canceled due to the Corona Virus Situation.
  • The Annual Association Meeting was held Thur. , 1/16/2020 at the church on 5 Mile just west of Yale starting at 7 p.m.  Guest speaker was Kathleen McIntyre, Pres. of the Livonia City Council.  Election of the Assoc. Officers and Directors was held.  
  • The 29th Annual Children's Halloween/Pizza Party for Association members families was held Friday evening, 10/25/19 at Kennedy School. About 37 children and 70 adults attended. Details in the December Newsletter.   
  • The Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday morning, April 20, 2019, at Greenbriar Nature Preserve on Lyndon.  57 children were divided into 4 age groups and hunted for 1735 eggs filled with candy and some with a toy prize slip. See the photos page.
  • Annual Meeting - was held Wed., Dec. 12,  2018, at the Compass Christian Church (located on 5 Mile just west of Yale) at 7 p.m.  Laura Toy, President of the Livonia City Council, spoke about the New Master Plan for the City.  The Association's Officers and Directors for 2019 were elected at the meeting.
  • Children's Halloween & Pizza Party - for the children and grand children of Association members was held Fri. evening,  Oct. 26, 2018, at Kennedy School.  Photos of the event can be viewed in the photos page.
  • Sub-Wide Garage Sale - was held on Thur., Fri., & Sat., June 14-16, 2018.  40 homes participated this year. Newspaper ads, maps and signs directed customers to the sale sites.  The next sale will be held in 2020.
  • Annual Easter Egg Hunt -  for the children and grandchildren (age 12 & under) of Association members was held on Saturday morning,  Mar. 31, 2018,  at the old Hull School site.  64 kids, divided into 4 age groups, collected 1614 eggs filled with candy; 110 of them contained a toy prize slip.   • Annual Meeting - was held Tues., Dec. 5  2017, at the Memorial Church of Christ located on 5 Mile just west of Yale.  Laura Toy, the new incoming President of the Livonia City Council, was the guest speaker.  The Association's Officers and Directors for 2018 were also elected.  See the Officers List page for their names.
  • Children's Halloween & Pizza Party - for the children and grand children of Association members was held Fri. evening,  Oct. 20, 2017, at Kennedy School.  Over 50 kids attended with their parents.  More details in the next newsletter.  Go to the photos page to see pics of the event.
  • Website Update: Now you can use smbestates.org without the www to get to the site.
  • Golf Outing that had been scheduled for  Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Idyl Wyld starting at 1 p.m. was cancelled.  Not enough golfers registered for the event
  • Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children and grandchildren (age 12 & under) of Association members was held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 ,  at the old Hull School site.  77 kids had a fun time.  Photos should be posted by May 9. 
  • Warning about Suspicious Website - a website calling themselves Nextdoor SMB Estates has been mailing out invitations to join them.  Once you do they then use your name without permission to mail other invitations.  This site has nothing to do with our own civic association.
  • Pictures of the Homes Recognized in the 2016 Christmas Decoration Contest can be viewed on the Photos page.

  • Annual Meeting - will be held Mon., Dec. 5  2016, at the Memorial Church of Christ located on 5 Mile just west of Yale starting at 7 p.m. A guest speaker from the Mich. Attorney Generals office on consumer education will give a presentation on Identity Theft.  The officers and directors for 2016 will also be elected.  
  • Lost or Found Pets - If you loose a pet or find a stray, please contact the Association and we will post it on the website and keep a list.  Hopefully, we can help reunite the lost pet with the owner.
