• KID'S EASTER EGG HUNT for the children & grandchildren of Association members, age 12 & under, will be held at the Greenbriar Nature Preserve on Saturday morning, April 19, 2025, starting at 10:30 a.m. Register by clicking on the form below: 

SMB Estates Easter Egg Hunt Registration

• ANNUAL ASSOCIATION MEETING was held at the 2 42 Community Church, located just west of the Yale entrance on 5 Mile Rd, on Feb. 4, 2025. The past years' activities were reviewed and the Officers & Directors for 2025 were elected. Brandon McCullough, LIvonia City Council President, was our guest speaker. 

• KID'S HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN/CANDY PATCH for the children & grandchildren of Association members, age 12 & under, was held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at the Greebriar Nature Preserve. 29 kids registered and had fun picking out a large pumpkin and a bag of candy with a prize slip for a toy. Refreshments were also served.       

• KID'S EASTER EGG HUNT for the children & grandchildren of Association members, age 12 & under, was held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Greebriar Nature Preserve. We had about 50 kids come. 

• ANNUAL ASSOCIATION MEETING was held at the 2 42 Community Church, located just west of the Yale entrance on 5 Mile Rd, on Feb. 1, 2024 at 7 p.m. Brandon McCullough, LIvonia City Council President was our guest speaker. The Officers and Directors for 2024 were elected. Their names are posted on the Officers page.

• HOLIDAY HOME DECORATION CONTEST judging was done on Dec, 26, 2023 and their were two Co-Winners, two Runner-ups and 12 Honorable Mentions. Pictures of the homes are displayed on the Photos page. 

• KID'S HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN/CANDY PATCH was held at the Nature Preserve on Saturday morning, Oct. 28, 2023.  Forty-nine children and grand-children of association members aged 12 & under registered. See the Photos page for pictures taken at the event.  

• SMB SCRAMBLES GOLF OUTING was  held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, starting at 1 p.m. at Idyl Wyld Golf Course. 34 golfers participated and gathered afterwards for dinner and awarding of prizes. 

• SUB-WIDE GARAGE SALE originally scheduled for June 22 -25, 2023, has been cancelled due to the sub road repairs that will be ongoing during this time period. It will be held next Spring in 2024.  

• KID'S EASTER EGG HUNT  for the children & grandchildren of Association members, 12 & under, was held at the Greenbriar Nature Preserve on Sat., April 8, 2023. 62 children were registed and enjoyed finding 1375 eggs filled with candy or a prize slip for a toy item.

• ANNUAL MEETING was held at the 2 42 Community Church on 5 Mile Rd, just West of Yale, on Feb. 2, 2023, starting at 7 p.m.  The Officers and Directors for FY 2023 were elected. Information on the upcoming road repairs in the sub was presented.  A review of the  Association activities for the past year was given by the President.

• KIDS Halloween Pumpkin / Candy Patch Event was held at the Greenbriar Nature Preserve on Sat., Oct. 22, 2022.  About 43 children & grandchildren of Association members came and enjoyed picking out a large pumpkin and a bag full of candy, and getting a Halloween theme toy, as well as having some refreshments.                                                                                  

• KIDS EASTER EGG HUNT - Was held at the Greenbriar Nature Preserve on Sat., April 16 , 2022 starting at 10:30 a.m.  It was for the children & grandchildren , 12  and under,  of Assoc, members.  62 children participated.  Go to the photos page to see pictures taken at the event. 

• ANNUAL MEETING was held at the 2 24 Church, located on 5 Mile Rd just west of Yale, on  Feb. 1, 2022, starting at 7 p.m.  Due to the COVID situation a virtual link was also be provided so members could also attend from your home.  The main  purpose was to elect the officers and directors.  

• KIDS Halloween Pumpkin / Candy Patch Event  was held on Sat., Oct. 23, 2021, at the Nature Preserve.  See Newsletter for details.  

• SUB-WIDE GARAGE SALE was held on June 17 -19, 2021.  20 homes participated this year.

•  Kids Easter Candy Hunt was held April 3, 2021 at the Greenbriar Nature Preserve, from 10:30 to 11 a.m.  About 45 children came.   View pictures on the Photo page.                                            

• Kids Halloween Pumpkin / Candy Patch Event was held  Sat., Oct 24, 2020 at the Nature Preserve. 52 kids participated.

• SMB Sub-Wide Garage Sale scheduled for June 18-20 has been canceled due to the coronavirus.  It will be rescheduled for either this Sept. or next year.

• Easter Egg Hunt  Scheduled for April 11, 2020 Canceled due to the Corona Virus Situation.

• The Annual Association Meeting was held Thur. , 1/16/2020 at the church on 5 Mile just west of Yale starting at 7 p.m.  Guest speaker was Kathleen McIntyre, Pres. of the Livonia City Council.  Election of the Assoc. Officers and Directors was held.  

• The 29th Annual Children's Halloween/Pizza Party for Association members families was held Friday evening, 10/25/19 at Kennedy School. About 37 children and 70 adults attended. Details in the December Newsletter.   

• The Annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday morning, April 20, 2019, at Greenbriar Nature Preserve on Lyndon.  57 children were divided into 4 age groups and hunted for 1735 eggs filled with candy and some with a toy prize slip. See the photos page.

• Annual Meeting - was held Wed., Dec. 12,  2018, at the Compass Christian Church (located on 5 Mile just west of Yale) at 7 p.m.  Laura Toy, President of the Livonia City Council, spoke about the New Master Plan for the City.  The Association's Officers and Directors for 2019 were elected at the meeting.

• Children's Halloween & Pizza Party - for the children and grand children of Association members was held Fri. evening,  Oct. 26, 2018, at Kennedy School.  Photos of the event can be viewed in the photos page.

  • Sub-Wide Garage Sale - was held on Thur., Fri., & Sat., June 14-16, 2018.  40 homes participated this year. Newspaper ads, maps and signs directed customers to the sale sites.  The next sale will be held in 2020.

• Annual Easter Egg Hunt -  for the children and grandchildren (age 12 & under) of Association members was held on Saturday morning,  Mar. 31, 2018,  at the old Hull School site.  64 kids, divided into 4 age groups, collected 1614 eggs filled with candy; 110 of them contained a toy prize slip. Pictures of event are posted on Photos page.
